IIT Kanpur Launches Six Online PG Programs for Non-GATE Candidates; Apply till October 31

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has launched six new postgraduate programs under its Departments of Management Sciences and Economics for candidates who do not have a valid score in GATE. Candidates can apply for admission till October 31, 2023.

IIT Kanpur will offer its three new online eMasters programs in Data Science and Business Analytics, Financial Technology and Management, and Power Sector Regulation, Economics, and Management under the Department of Management Sciences.

Additionally, the eMasters Program in Business Finance, Financial Analysis, and Public Policy will be offered by the Department of Economics. The classes for registered candidates for IIT Kanpur Online eMasters Program will start in January 2024.

The newly launched eMasters programmes at IIT Kanpur are designed to introduce professionals and interested participants to the skills demanded by the industry. Candidates can pursue this program online, without pausing their professional careers. 

The course is designed to offer participants flexibility in completion time, allowing them to take classes from the comfort of their homes. Participants will have to complete the program within the duration of one to three years after enrolling in the course. 

In addition to this, they will have the opportunity to take advantage of credit transfer facilities. Through this, they can transfer up to 60 credits of their program for educational purposes such as pursuing their MTech and PhD program at IIT Kanpur.
