New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has invited applications for a unique and free course titled 'Out of the Box Thinking.’OOBT course comprised of four levels each lasting 10 weeks with periodic assessments and solutions.

The 'Out of the Box Thinking' course offered by IIT Madras aims to nurture creative thinking. Institute will teach the course in an online mode and the course will be free of cost. Aspirants can utilize this opportunity to learn various aspects of this course.

Students, professionals, and researchers can easily access this course through the four graded independent levels. The final exam conducted in the selected city across India will be proctored. Aspirants who will pass the examination will get a graded certificate issued by IITM Pravartak based on exam performance.

IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation ‘Out of the Box Thinking’ Mathematics Course Highlights

IITM Pravartak Technologies, a Section 8 Company, hosts the technology hub on Sensors, Networking, Actuators, and Control Systems. It is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, as part of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems and hosted by IIT Madras.

According to Prof V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras “ This course is first-of-its-kind in India and will make a major impact in the coming days. We will see the benefits in the next few years. This course is being offered free of cost and will greatly benefit 

school and college students, especially those residing in rural India. Thinking differently is crucial for innovation leading to entrepreneurship. Training the young mind to think differently will, in the long run, yield creative youth for our nation.”

With this IITM Pravartak, is inviting applications for the next batch of ‘Out of the Box Thinking’ course for Levels 1 and 2. The registration process for the same has started and it will continue till September 16, 2023. Aspirants can check and apply through the official website pravartak.org.in/out-of-box-thinking.
