Mumbai University has extended the Centralised Admission Process deadline for BE, BMS, BBA, BCA, Direct SE, MCA, MMS and ME courses to October 16, 2026. Register at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The University of Mumbai (MU), on directions from the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), has extended the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) deadline for several professional programmes. The new last date to complete admission is October 16, 2026. Eligible candidates must register on the official admission portal at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The extension covers eight programmes across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These include Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Direct Second Year Engineering (Direct SE). At the postgraduate level, the deadline covers Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Engineering (ME).
The decision follows earlier admission revisions issued by the Maharashtra CET Cell in line with directions from the Supreme Court and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The latest extension gives candidates who missed earlier rounds a final chance to confirm their seats before the academic session begins.
