IUST PG Admission 2026 Deadline Extended to June 15 at admission.iust.ac.in; Check How to Apply

The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has extended the last date for its 2-Year Postgraduate (PG) Programmes 2026. As per the official extension notice dated June 3, 2026, eligible candidates can now apply online till June 15, 2026. The application portal is live at admission.iust.ac.in.

The extension applies to all 2-Year PG Programmes offered for the academic session 2026. Earlier registered candidates can also edit and complete their forms within this revised window. The university has advised aspirants not to wait for the final day.

Admission is open across multiple departments and faculties at the Awantipora campus. The selection process is based on merit and a programme-wise entrance test. For technical streams, valid national-level scores may also be considered as per the admission guidelines.

2-Year PG Programmes Offered at IUST

The university offers postgraduate programmes across science, technology, humanities, management and computer applications. Applicants can choose one or more programmes in a single application cycle.

IUST PG Admission 2026 Application Fee

Payment is accepted through online modes only. These include net banking, debit card, credit card and UPI. The fee is non-refundable once submitted.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility varies by programme and depends on the qualifying degree. For most PG courses, a recognised bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline is required. Minimum percentage and subject requirements differ across departments.

For MBA, candidates need a bachelor's degree with the minimum percentage set by the university. A valid national-level management score may also be required. Aspirants must check the programme-specific guidelines before applying.

2. New users register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Login with the generated credentials and open the PG application form.
4. Select the preferred 2-Year PG Programme from the list.

6. Upload scanned copies of marksheets, photograph and signature.
7. Pay the application fee through the available online modes.
8. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for records.

Candidates applying under the Sponsored Quota must submit additional documents. The format is available on the admission portal under the guidelines section.
