The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Chandigarh has released the JAC Chandigarh 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result at jacchd.admissions.nic.in. The result went live on July 10, 2026. Allotted candidates must now confirm their seats within the prescribed deadline.
Candidates who have secured a seat must complete two mandatory steps. They must pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 40,000 and submit their willingness option for further counselling rounds. The deadline for completing both actions is July 13, 2026.
Payment can be made through net banking, credit card, debit card, or e-challan. Candidates who miss the July 13 deadline will lose their allotted seat. They will also become ineligible for subsequent counselling rounds.
The Round 2 choice filling window will open on July 15, 2026, and close on July 17, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 18, 2026.

JAC Chandigarh Fee Structure
The seat acceptance fee is fixed for all allotted candidates. The amount is later adjusted against the total college fee at the allotted institute. Candidates must save the payment receipt for future verification.

JAC Chandigarh 2026 conducts joint counselling for engineering, architecture, and management programmes. The counselling covers admissions to major institutes in Chandigarh.

- Click on the Round 1 seat allotment result link available on the homepage.
- Enter the application number and password to log in.
- The allotted college and branch will appear on the screen.

How to Confirm the Allotted Seat?
Candidates must log in to the counselling portal again to complete the seat confirmation process. They must pay the Rs 40,000 seat acceptance fee online. After completing the payment, candidates must select and submit their willingness option.
The three willingness options are Freeze, Float, and Slide.
Freeze: This option confirms the currently allotted seat. The candidate will not participate in further counselling rounds.
Float: This option allows the candidate to retain the allotted seat while remaining eligible for a higher-preference college or programme in subsequent rounds.
Slide: This option allows the candidate to retain the allotted seat while remaining eligible for a higher-preference branch within the same institute.
