JCECEB BEd MEd BPEd Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration Begins at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened Round 1 counselling registration. The registration window is now live at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in for admissions to the 2026-28 academic session.

The counselling is being conducted for the following three teacher training programmes:

• Bachelor of Education (BEd)
• Master of Education (MEd)
• Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)

Seat allotment will be based on the Common Merit List (CML) published by JCECEB. Allotment will also depend on the Jharkhand state reservation policy and the choices locked by candidates.

Only colleges recognised by the concerned authorities in Jharkhand are covered under this counselling process.

Who Is Eligible for JCECEB Counselling 2026?

Registration is open only to candidates who have qualified the JCECEB entrance examination 2026. The board declared the entrance examination result on July 3, 2026.

Candidates should keep their JCECEB rank card ready before starting the registration and choice-filling process.

Applicants must also meet the programme-specific academic eligibility criteria prescribed by the board. Reservation benefits will be available only to candidates belonging to notified reserved categories in Jharkhand.

How to Register and Fill Choices for JCECEB Counselling 2026?

The registration and choice-filling process will be completed entirely online. Candidates can follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official JCECEB website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
• Open the online counselling link for BEd, MEd and BPEd 2026.
• Log in using the application number and password.
• Verify the personal and academic details displayed on the dashboard.
• Select the preferred colleges and programmes in order of preference.
• Pay the counselling fee through the available online payment gateway.
• Lock the choices and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Documents Required During Registration

Candidates should keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before starting the registration process:

• JCECEB 2026 admit card
• JCECEB 2026 rank card
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Graduation mark sheets, where applicable
• Post-graduation mark sheets, where applicable
• Category certificate for reserved-category candidates
• Jharkhand local resident certificate
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature
• Valid photo identity proof, such as Aadhaar

What Happens After Round 1 Seat Allotment?

The Round 1 provisional seat allotment result will be available through the candidate dashboard.

Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat will have to pay the seat acceptance fee online. They must then complete physical reporting at the allotted college within the deadline notified by the board.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotment may wait for the subsequent counselling rounds. Vacant seats will be filled through later rounds, and JCECEB will publish the schedule for each round separately on the official portal.
