The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened the Round 3 choice filling window for Jharkhand BTech Counselling 2026. Registered candidates can fill and lock their preferences through the official counselling portal at engg.jceceb.org.in.

The Round 3 State Merit List was published on August 1, 2026. Only candidates included in the merit list can participate in the choice filling and seat allotment process.

The choice filling facility will remain available until 6:00 PM on August 2, 2026. Candidates will also be allowed to edit their submitted choices between 6:00 PM and midnight on August 2, 2026.

Candidates must complete the choice filling process within the prescribed deadline. Those who fail to submit their preferences in time will not be considered for the Round 3 seat allotment.

Jharkhand BTech Round 3 Seat Allotment Letter

The provisional seat allotment letter will be available from August 3 to August 6, 2026. Candidates allotted a seat must log in to the counselling portal and download the allotment letter.

The allotment will depend on the candidate’s JEE Main 2026 State Merit Rank, category, submitted preferences and availability of seats.

Document Verification and Admission Schedule

Candidates who receive a seat in the third round must report to the allotted institute for certificate verification and admission between August 4 and August 6, 2026.

Candidates should carry their original documents, photocopies, provisional allotment letter and other certificates prescribed by JCECEB. Failure to report within the specified period may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
