Jharkhand BTech Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026 Out at engg.jceceb.org.in; Check Document Verification Deadline

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the Round 1 provisional seat allotment result for Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology (BE/BTech) admissions 2026. Candidates can now download the seat allotment letter from the official portal at engg.jceceb.org.in.

The allotment result was published on July 12, 2026, based on the Jharkhand State Merit List released on July 5, 2026. Allotted candidates must report to their assigned institute for document verification and admission confirmation.

The document verification and admission window is short. Candidates should not delay reporting to the allotted college.

How to Download the Jharkhand BTech Round 1 Allotment Letter?

The Round 1 allotment letter is available only through the candidate login. It contains details such as the allotted institute, engineering branch and seat category.

• Visit the official portal at engg.jceceb.org.in.
• Click on the Candidate Login section on the homepage.
• Enter the application number and password.
• Open the Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter link.
• Download the letter and print two copies for institute reporting.

How to Complete Document Verification and Admission?

The document verification and admission confirmation process must be completed at the allotted college. Candidates must carry the original documents along with self-attested photocopies.

The reporting window begins on July 13, 2026, and closes on July 17, 2026. Candidates who fail to report within the given deadline may lose their allotted seat.

Documents Required at the Institute

Candidates must carry the following documents during institute reporting:

• Round 1 seat allotment letter
• JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 scorecard issued by the National Testing Agency
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Category certificate, where applicable
• Jharkhand domicile certificate
• Aadhaar card
• Recent passport-size photographs

Round 2 and Later Counselling Rounds

The board will conduct a total of four counselling rounds for Jharkhand BE/BTech admissions.

The Round 2 counselling process will begin on July 17, 2026, while the Round 2 allotment letter will be released on July 24, 2026.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1, or those who wish to upgrade their allotted seat, can participate in the upcoming counselling rounds.

1. Log in at engg.jceceb.org.in and download your Round 1 allotment letter.
2. Check the allotted institute, branch, and category on the letter.
3. Arrange all original documents and self-attested photocopies.
4. Report to the allotted institute between July 13 and July 17, 2026.
5. Complete document verification and pay the admission fee at the college.
6. Decide on freezing, sliding, or floating your seat for Round 2.
