Who Is Eligible for JMI Spot Round 2026?

The university has laid out clear eligibility rules for spot registration. Only two categories of candidates can appear at the venue.

• Candidates whose roll numbers appear on the published waiting list for the course.
• Candidates who were offered a seat earlier but missed completing admission formalities.

For the Diploma in Engineering programme, only candidates up to serial number 1367 on the waiting list are eligible. Candidates outside these categories will not be entertained at the venue.

Vacant seats are available across several faculties in this round. The list covers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Documents Required at the JMI Spot Round Venue

Candidates must appear in person on the scheduled date and time. Physical presence is mandatory for spot registration to be considered valid.

• Downloaded Jamia admission application form for the chosen course.
• Original JMI entrance test admit card issued by the university.
• Original mark sheets and certificates for eligibility verification.
• Valid government-issued photo identity proof of the candidate.
• Recent passport-size photographs as per application requirements.

How to Report for JMI Spot Round Registration?

The spot registration process follows a fixed on-campus flow. Candidates must reach the venue within the reporting window.

1. Reach the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Auditorium by 10:00 AM.
2. Present the downloaded application form and admit card at the desk.
3. Complete verification of original documents with the admission officials.
4. Wait for the merit-based seat allotment announcement by the faculty.
5. Complete admission formalities on the spot if a seat is allotted.

Merely registering does not guarantee admission to the programme. Final allotment depends on merit and available vacancies in each course.
