JNU Round 1 UG Cutoff 2026 Released; Check Direct Link to Merit List

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released the Round 1 undergraduate (UG) admission cutoff for the 2026-27 academic session. The merit list is now live on the official admission portal at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The cutoff covers three undergraduate streams offered by the university.

The three streams are Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA Hons), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes. Admissions to these UG courses are based on valid Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 scores. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had declared the CUET UG 2026 result on June 23, 2026.

Candidates who appear in the Round 1 cutoff list must complete the admission formalities within the deadline set by the university. This includes pre-enrolment, document verification, and payment of the acceptance fee. Failure to complete these steps on time will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

The cutoff PDFs are hosted on the official JNU entrance portal. Candidates should follow the steps below to access the programme-specific list.

• Visit the official portal at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
• Locate the UG cutoff section for the 2026-27 admission cycle.
• Click on the direct link for BA, BSc, or COP as per the applied programme.
• The category-wise cutoff PDF will open in a new tab.
• Download and save the file for future reference.

Who Is Eligible for the Round 1 Admission?

Only candidates who registered on the JNU admission portal with a valid CUET UG 2026 scorecard are eligible. The score must be equal to or above the category-wise minimum listed in the merit PDF. Reservation follows Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD candidates.
