In course there are very less placement companies come for placement. A large number want to pursue their PhD or go for job and some like to join industrial jobs. Remaining peoples prefer to do preparation for UPSC. The alumni of my university are doing well around the all over globe.
Yes, I was getting MCM scholarship
Placement is usually 100% unless any mishap happens during or 1 year after the course with an average package of approximately 12lakhs per annum.
It is not a private college that offers a job or any placement. But is a training academy after which getting commissioned into defence forces is fixed.
Yes, my college provides intership. I think there is no stipend. No, there are not that much scope of placements. It's very rare approximately zero. Once a company came, but due to some reason they postponed their interview. But yes, in other branches and language courses there are a lot of options.
There are own placement cell in jnu and also option to internship while pursuing the course. the university every months provide stipend for living expenses to students who belongs to non government family employee.
I haven't yet completed my first semester, so there is no personal experience involved here. But, from what I have heard or seen, the placement cell at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, JNU works tirelessly to ensure that the students from every batch get an opportunity to intern at some reputed firm( be it research or corporate) as well as are placed well at the end of the course. Most of our final placements are in the form of PPO. Moreover, the batch strength isn't huge, so the probability of any person not getting placed on completion of the course is very less.
After MA one has to do M.phil and then PhD. Different scholarships are provided by our department. Non-net M.phil scholarship is 5000 Rs. Non net PhD is 8000. Net stipend is slightly higher. JRF stipend is around 30k.
The placement of my college is very good. Every year a lot many students get placed in different companies. No, it doesn't provide internship but it has many degree courses which anyone can do by appearing in the entrance exam. It has a separate body for placement known as JNU Placement Cell
JNU conducts its own placement with the help of professors and students. There is a placement cell that regularly sends important information about internships and job opening to the students. The placement cell organizers help the students in guiding as well. They conduct a mock interview session for the students and offer them a window of improvement. It is the constant help of the professors that make our journey completely delightful.
They provide the placements among the world.the placement depends on the rank you are getting in your batch.the qualification of student decides their placements.many companies like.vipra.bajaj .took new studnets every year and provides packages upto 10 lakh per annum
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
