Candidates who complete the payment must appear for physical verification of documents from August 17 to 20, 2026. Original certificates, category proof and the CUET UG 2026 scorecard will be checked at the respective centre.

Any candidate who fails to attend verification may lose the seat. JNU will publish the Final Merit List on September 3, 2026, followed by the closure of admissions on September 15, 2026.

Why This Matters

The second merit list is the last major shortlisting round before supernumerary and spot admissions. Students on the waitlist should track the portal closely, as vacant seats after August 14 will move to later rounds.
