Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 Seat Matrix Out; Check Last Date to Enter Options

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test (PGET-MDS) 2026 seat matrix. The notification is live on the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. It covers government and private dental colleges across Karnataka. The order carries the reference number ED/KEA/ADMN/CR-13/2026 dated September 5, 2026.

The release marks the start of the first counselling round. Candidates can now check the available seats before locking their choices. Round 1 option entry began on September 5, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

The option entry window closes on September 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Round 1 seat allotment result will come out on September 10, 2026. Only locked options will be considered for allotment.

Which Seats Are Covered Under KEA MDS Counselling?

KEA handles MDS admissions under multiple quotas in Karnataka. The seat matrix includes several college categories in a single document.

• 50 percent government quota seats in state-run dental colleges.
• 100 percent seats in private dental colleges within Karnataka.
• NRI quota seats offered by participating private institutions.
• Other quota seats notified under the government order.

How to Check the Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 Seat Matrix?

2. Click on the PGET 2026 (MDS) dental section on the homepage.
3. Open the link titled PGMDS GO Seat Matrix.
4. Download the PDF and save it for reference.
5. Match your preferred college and course before locking options.

How to Enter Options for Round 1?

Only candidates in the verified merit list can enter options. The choice-filling link is active on the PGET 2026 (MDS) page.

1. Log in with your CET number and password on the KEA portal.
2. Open the Round 1 option entry link for MDS 2026.
3. Add colleges and courses in your order of preference.
4. Review the list once and lock the final choices.
5. Download the locked options sheet for your records.
