The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment on September 11, 2026. Candidates registered for the second round of counselling can check their provisional seat status on the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The provisional allotment covers MBBS and BDS seats under the state government quota and private management quota. Candidates must log in using their CET registration number and password. The allotment applies to candidates who participated in the Round 2 option entry from September 7 to September 9, 2026.

How to Check Karnataka NEET UG Round 2 Provisional Allotment?

Candidates can check the provisional allotment result using their CET registration number and password. Follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the UGNEET 2026 Round 2 Provisional Allotment link.
  3. Enter the CET registration number and password.
  4. The provisional seat allotment details will appear on the screen.
  5. Download the result and save a copy for future reference.

What Are the Four Choices Available After Allotment?

After checking the allotment, candidates must exercise one of the four available choices. The selected option determines whether the seat will be retained, upgraded, released, or withdrawn. Missing the deadline may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Choice 1 Accept the allotted seat and exit further counselling rounds.
Choice 2 Accept the allotted seat but remain eligible for upgradation.
Choice 3 Reject the allotted seat and participate in the next round.

  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1.

  • Candidates who selected Choice 3 and released their Round 1 seat.
