KCET 2026 candidates whose Class 12 marks changed after revaluation must submit the revised marks card in person at the KEA office in Malleshwaram Bangalore between July 4 and July 6 2026 before counselling seat allotment.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a fresh notification on July 3, 2026, directing Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 candidates to submit their revised Class 12 board exam marks in person. The notification is hosted on the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The instruction applies to candidates whose Class 12 marks have changed after board revaluation or supplementary results. They must appear physically at the KEA office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, between July 4 and July 6, 2026, with the revised marks card and required documents.
KEA has clarified that this window is mandatory. Revised marks will not be accepted through DigiLocker, email, or the online portal for these candidates. The update is needed before the KCET 2026 seat allotment process moves ahead.

Who Needs to Submit Revised Marks?
The notification is not for every KCET 2026 candidate. It applies only to those whose Class 12 marks have officially changed after the board declared revaluation or supplementary results.
- Students of CBSE whose Class 12 marks were revised after revaluation.
- Students of CISCE with updated ISC marks after re-checking.
- Karnataka PUC II candidates who cleared supplementary exams.
- Students of other state boards whose marks were officially revised.
Candidates whose Class 12 marks have not changed do not need to visit the KEA office. Their marks already stand recorded through the earlier DigiLocker linkage.
How to Submit the Revised Class 12 Marks to KEA?
The process is offline and physical. Candidates must reach the KEA head office within the three-day window. Postal or courier submissions will not be accepted.
- Collect the revised marks card issued by the respective board.
- Carry the KCET 2026 admit card and rank card as identity proof.
- Visit the KEA office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, on any working day within the window.
- Submit the documents at the counter designated for revised marks entry.
- Collect an acknowledgement receipt from the KEA staff after submission.
Documents Required at the KEA Counter
- Original revised Class 12 marks card issued by the board.
- Photocopy of the revised marks card for KEA records.
- KCET 2026 admit card printout.
- KCET 2026 rank card printout.
- One government-issued photo identity proof, such as Aadhaar.
Why the Physical Route This Time?
KEA had earlier moved the entire Class 12 marks capture process online through DigiLocker for KCET 2026. Candidates from CBSE, CISCE, and Karnataka PUC linked their board marks digitally before results were declared.
However, revaluation and supplementary board outcomes are released after the initial DigiLocker sync. These updated marks do not flow automatically into the KEA system. A physical submission is required so that the ranks can be re-computed correctly before final seat allotment.
KCET ranks use a 50:50 weightage of Class 12 PCM marks and KCET scores. A change in board marks after revaluation can shift your rank. Missing the July 4 to 6 window may lock you into the old marks and affect your seat.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Check whether your Class 12 marks have changed after board revaluation.
- Download the revised marks card from your board portal.
- Arrange the KCET 2026 admit card, rank card, and photo ID.
- Plan travel to the KEA office in Malleshwaram between July 4 and 6.
- Submit the documents at the counter and collect the acknowledgement slip.
- Keep the receipt safe until the mock allotment result is out.
Watch the KEA portal for the KCET 2026 mock allotment result on July 6, 2026, and the revised rank list once updated marks are processed.
