The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has opened the option entry process for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2026 BTech candidates. Choice registration is now live at cee.kerala.gov.in.
The option entry window opened on July 2, 2026. Candidates must submit their choices before July 6, 2026, at 4 PM. The Phase 1 trial allotment result will be released on July 8, 2026.
This exercise is part of the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Only candidates named on the KEAM 2026 engineering rank list can register. CEE Kerala published this rank list on June 27, 2026.
The provisional category list for Kerala Engineering and Pharmacy courses was released on June 29, 2026. Candidates must clear any category-related issues before locking their options. The CEE helpline is open on 0471-2332120 and 0471-2338487 during working hours.

What Comes After the Trial Allotment?
The trial round shows a likely seat based on submitted choices. It is not the final allotment. Candidates can still modify their options after seeing the result.
CEE Kerala will then run the final Phase 1 allotment. The KEAM CAP counselling runs across three main phases. A mop-up round follows to fill any leftover vacant seats.
The trial allotment gives candidates a preview of their likely seat. It lets them rework the option order before the real result. Students should treat it as a test run, not a final admission.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Sign in to the KEAM candidate portal on cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Prepare a shortlist of desired colleges and BTech branches.
- Enter all preferred options in strict order of preference.
- Save the final list well before the July 6 deadline.
- Check the trial result and edit choices if required.
- Track the portal for the final Phase 1 seat result.
Watch cee.kerala.gov.in for the final Phase 1 result and fee payment window. Phase 2 and Phase 3 allotment schedules will follow later.
