The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) has extended the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 registration deadline to July 15, 2026. Candidates can now apply on the official portal at kmatindia.com. The application window is open for both MBA and MCA aspirants seeking admission in Karnataka.

KMAT is a state-level entrance test conducted by KPPGCA. It is used for admission to over 189 AICTE-approved and university-affiliated management institutes in Karnataka. The test opens seats in MBA, PGDM, and MCA programmes across the state.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility for KMAT 2026 differs by programme. Candidates must check the criteria before filling the form.

For MBA and PGDM

Applicants need a Bachelor's degree of at least three years from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks is required. SC and ST candidates need 45 percent aggregate marks.

Final-year Bachelor's students may also apply. They must meet the minimum percentage at the time of application.

For MCA

Candidates must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Mathematics studied during the Bachelor's degree is also accepted. The base degree requirement of 50 percent aggregate still applies.

The application process is fully online. Candidates should keep scanned documents and a valid ID ready before starting.

KMAT 2026 Exam Schedule

KPPGCA has confirmed the revised registration end date. The admit card date, mock test date, exam date, and result date have not been announced yet. All these details are marked as "To Be Announced" on the official portal.

KMAT is one of the most widely accepted MBA and MCA entrance tests in Karnataka. The exam is conducted every year at the state level. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated institutes.
