KLEE 5-Year LLB Counselling 2026 Option Registration Opens; Check Last Date to Register Choices

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has issued a fresh notification. Option registration for the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) is now live. It covers the 5-Year LLB 2026 counselling process. The facility is available on the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can register their choices till August 14, 2026.

Option registration is the first key step of KLEE counselling. Candidates must select their preferred law colleges and course combinations. Their submitted choices decide the seat allotment in later rounds.

1. Visit the CEE Kerala official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
2. Log in using your KLEE 2026 application number and password.
3. Pay the required option registration fee through the online payment gateway.
4. Open the option registration section for the 5-Year LLB course.
5. View the list of participating colleges and courses on screen.
6. Add colleges and courses in order of your preference.
7. Review the full list carefully before final submission.
8. Save and confirm the submitted option list on the portal.

What Happens to the Option Registration Fee?

The paid fee follows a fixed refund policy set by CEE Kerala. Candidates who receive no seat allotment will get a refund. Those who receive a seat but do not join will forfeit the fee. Quitting a seat after admission also leads to fee forfeiture.

CEE Kerala will process the submitted option lists once the window shuts. The board will then publish the first seat allotment list on the portal.
