Who Conducts KMAT and What It Covers?

KPPGCA was established on January 29, 2003. It conducts KMAT with authorisation from the Government of Karnataka. The association currently has 159 MBA member institutions and 69 MCA member institutions.

The exam is used for admission to AICTE-approved and university-affiliated self-financing colleges. Candidates can appear from their preferred location under the remote proctored format.

How to Register for KMAT 2026?

Candidates who have not yet applied should complete the process before the revised deadline. The registration is done entirely online through the official website.

  1. Visit the official KMAT portal at kmatindia.com.
  2. Click on the KMAT 2026 registration link on the homepage.
  3. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details in the application form.
  4. Upload the required documents as per the specifications.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the final form.

Why This Extension Matters

The two-week window between the new deadline and the exam gives candidates extra time to complete registration. It also allows late applicants to prepare for the remote proctored format.
