LPU has begun a month-long student exchange program of a group of 15 students and faculty members from the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom (UK).

New Delhi: A cohort of 15 students and faculty members hailing from the University of Greenwich, located in the United Kingdom (UK), commenced a student exchange program at Lovely Professional University (LPU) for a month.
The diverse group of students from the University of Greenwich, encompassing various fields of study, will remain at LPU until July 12, immersing themselves in the distinctive facets of India and the university.
The students have been actively engaging in a wide range of subjects and activities during their time at Lovely Professional University (LPU). They have also been receiving lessons about the Hindi Language, Indian Culinary Techniques, Traditional Dances, Craftsmanship, Politics, Sociology, Yoga, Physiotherapy, Ergonomics, and Lifestyle, among other topics.
In addition, the students have been participating in workshops focused on Coil Pottery, Fabric Identification, and Colouring and Dyeing.
As part of the comprehensive month-long exchange program, the international students will have the chance to explore historically, religiously, industrially, and nationally significant places in and around the state of Punjab.
The primary focus of the student's learning experience is centered on India's thriving economy and its culturally rich heritage.
Expressing his delight and welcoming the students from the University of Greenwich to the LPU campus, Aman Mittal, Vice-President of LPU, highlighted the university's commitment to providing them with an immersive cultural and educational experience.
He said that the university has collaborations with various global universities and specifically mentioned the partnership established with the University of Greenwich. They further expressed anticipation for the ongoing provision of international exposure and learning opportunities, not only for LPU students but also for students from the universities that have joined hands with them.
