The State CET Cell closes the MAH BCA CET 2026 CAP Round 3 option form window today, August 27, 2026. Eligible PCB and PCM candidates must submit and confirm their choices through the candidate login on bca2026.mahacet.org before the day ends.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), Maharashtra has set today as the final day to submit and confirm the option form for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 of the Maharashtra Bachelor of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (MAH BCA CET) 2026. Eligible candidates must log in on the official portal at bca2026.mahacet.org to complete the process before the deadline lapses.
Both PCB and PCM CET candidates are eligible to fill the CAP Round 3 option form. The State CET Cell has confirmed this eligibility in its latest notice on the portal. The round is the last centralised opportunity in this admission cycle for a BCA seat under the State CET Cell.

Who Is Eligible for CAP Round 3?
Candidates who cleared the MAH BCA CET 2026 with either PCB or PCM subject groups can join this round. This includes students who did not receive an allotment in the earlier rounds. It also covers those who chose not to accept a prior allotment. Fresh registrations are not permitted at this stage.

How to Submit the CAP Round 3 Option Form?
- Visit the official CAP portal at bca2026.mahacet.org.
- Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and password to sign in.
- Open the CAP Round 3 option form section.
- Select colleges and BCA courses in your preferred order.
- Save the entries and then confirm the option form.
- Download the acknowledgement page for your records.
Once the form is confirmed, changes cannot be made through the candidate login. Candidates must therefore review their preferences carefully before final submission.

What Happens After the Option Form Window Closes?
The State CET Cell will process the submitted preferences using the state merit list. It will then publish the CAP Round 3 provisional seat allotment on the same portal. Candidates who receive a seat must accept it within the reporting window. The Cell will notify the allotment and reporting dates separately on the official website.

Institute Level Admissions Run in Parallel
An institute-level option form window is running alongside the CAP schedule. Candidates who miss CAP Round 3 can still apply directly to individual institutes under this route. Each institute will announce its own selection list and reporting timeline.

This is the last centralised chance to lock a merit-based BCA seat this admission cycle. Missing the option form removes your name from the CAP allotment pool. After today, only the institute-level route remains open.
