MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Round 3 Allotment Out; Check Seat Acceptance and Reporting Deadline

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (CET Cell) has released the Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (MAH BDes CET) 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 provisional seat allotment result. Candidates who registered for CAP Round 3 can check their allotment status on the official portal at bdesign2026.mahacet.org.

The self-verification, seat acceptance, and institute reporting window has begun. Allotted candidates must complete every step within the deadline. Missing any stage will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Check the MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Round 3 Allotment Status?

Allotted candidates can view their result by following the steps below.

1. Visit the official portal at bdesign2026.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the CAP Round 3 allotment status link on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
4. View the allotted institute, course, and seat type on screen.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.

Candidates can also check the institute-wise allotment list released by the CET Cell.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Seat acceptance is a mandatory step for confirming the Round 3 allotment. Candidates must complete this online by 3:00 PM on August 28, 2026.

1. Log in to the candidate portal with your credentials.
2. Self-verify the allotment details displayed on screen.
3. Choose the Freeze or Not Freeze/Betterment option carefully.
4. Pay the seat acceptance fee through the online payment gateway.
5. Save the acceptance receipt for the institute reporting stage.

Freeze or Not Freeze Option

Candidates satisfied with the Round 3 seat should select the Freeze option. Candidates who want to try for a better allotment in future rounds must choose the Not Freeze or Betterment option.

As per the CET Cell notice, candidates allotted seats from their first six preferences will be auto-freezed. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in any future round of allotment.

How to Report to the Allotted Institute?

After seat acceptance, candidates must physically report to the allotted institute by 5:00 PM on August 28, 2026. The institute will verify documents and confirm the admission in the system.

Candidates should carry the following documents in original along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.

• MAH BDes CET 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and passing certificates
• Domicile certificate and nationality proof
• Caste, EWS, or minority certificate, if applicable
• Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
• CAP Round 3 allotment letter and seat acceptance receipt

1. Log in at bdesign2026.mahacet.org and check the Round 3 allotment status.
2. Self-verify the seat and choose Freeze or Not Freeze/Betterment option.
3. Pay the seat acceptance fee online before 3:00 PM on August 28, 2026.
4. Arrange all original documents and two sets of photocopies.
5. Report to the allotted institute before 5:00 PM on August 28, 2026.
6. Collect the admission confirmation receipt from the institute.
