The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has opened the online registration for the Maharashtra Bachelor of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (MAH BCA CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026. The application window is live on the official portal at bca2026.mahacet.org. Candidates seeking BCA admission in participating institutes across Maharashtra must apply through this portal only.
The registration window opened on July 6, 2026 and closes on July 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Document verification for submitted applications runs from July 7 to July 17, 2026. Candidates can complete verification through E-Scrutiny mode or Physical Scrutiny mode at self-selected centres.

MAH BCA CET CAP 2026 Key Registration Dates

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The CAP round is open to candidates who have passed Class 12 (HSC) from any stream. Applicants from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams are all permitted to register. Candidates must possess valid Aadhaar and APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) IDs before registration. Applicants without these two IDs cannot complete the online form.
Documents Required for MAH BCA CET CAP 2026
Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents during registration:
- Aadhaar card and APAAR ID
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets or equivalent certificates
- Recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature
- Active mobile number and email ID for verification
- Maharashtra candidates claiming reservation must also upload their domicile certificate, caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate, where applicable.

How to Register for MAH BCA CET CAP 2026?
The registration process is fully online and requires a stable internet connection. Candidates should follow the steps below on the official CAP portal.
- Visit the official portal at bca2026.mahacet.org.
- Click on the new candidate registration link on the homepage.
- Enter Aadhaar, APAAR ID, mobile number, and email to create the login.
- Fill in personal, academic, and category details in the application form.
- Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the applicable registration fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for records.
How Will Document Verification Work?
The CET Cell has offered candidates two modes for completing document verification. Applicants must choose one mode while filling the application form.
E-Scrutiny Mode: Candidates fill the online application, scan their original documents, and upload the required files from any computer or smartphone. Verification results appear in the candidate login portal without a centre visit.
Physical Scrutiny Mode: Candidates visit their self-selected scrutiny centre with original documents during the assigned time slot. Verification is completed in person by the centre officials.

Special Provision for Union Territory Candidates
Candidates from the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have a different route. They must send a printout of the online filled application form and copies of uploaded documents to Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai. Submission can be made by hand, speed post, or courier within the scrutiny window.

The APAAR ID is a new mandatory requirement for MAH BCA CET candidates this cycle. It links a student's academic records to a single digital identifier. Candidates without an active APAAR ID cannot complete the CAP registration form.

- Generate the APAAR ID from the DigiLocker or Academic Bank of Credits portal immediately.
- Keep scanned copies of Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets ready.
- Arrange domicile, caste, and non-creamy layer certificates for reservation claims.

- Select the verification mode carefully while filling the form.
