The Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the MAH BHMCT CAP 2026 registration deadline to July 22, 2026, 5 PM. Document verification runs till July 23. The provisional merit list will be released on July 26 at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.

MAH BHMCT CAP 2026 Registration Extended Till July 22

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for the MAH Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026. Candidates can now register on the official portal at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in till July 22, 2026, up to 5 PM.

The BHMCT CAP is the centralised counselling round for undergraduate hotel management admissions in Maharashtra. Seats across participating government-aided, university and private institutes are allotted through this process.

Alongside the registration extension, the CET Cell has also revised the timeline for document verification and the release of the provisional merit list. Candidates who have not yet completed their profile or uploaded documents must act within the updated window.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The eligibility norms for the BHMCT CAP follow the CET Cell information brochure.

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • General category applicants must have passed HSC or equivalent with at least 45 percent aggregate.
  • Reserved category, PwD and EWS applicants with Maharashtra domicile need at least 40 percent aggregate.
  • A valid MAH BHMCT CET 2026 score is required for merit-based seat allotment.

How to Complete the CAP Registration?

Candidates who have not yet finished the registration should follow the steps below before the new deadline.

  1. Open the official CAP portal at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.
  2. Click on the new registration link and create login credentials.
  3. Fill in personal, academic and category details in the application form.
  4. Upload scanned copies of the required certificates in the prescribed format.
  5. Pay the applicable CAP processing fee through the online payment gateway.
  6. Submit the form and download the confirmation receipt for records.

How Does Document Verification Work?

After registration, applicants must get their documents verified within the CET Cell window. The verification is available in two modes.

  • E-Scrutiny: Online verification of uploaded documents by assigned officers.
  • Physical Scrutiny: In-person verification at a designated Facilitation Centre.

Both modes remain open till July 23, 2026. Candidates whose documents are not verified in time will not appear on the provisional merit list.

Background You Should Know

The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 written test was held from April 28 to 30, 2026. The final answer key was released on May 27, 2026 by the CET Cell. The current CAP round uses those results for merit ranking.

  • Log in to dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in before July 22, 2026, 5 PM, and finish the registration form.
  • Keep HSC marksheet, CET scorecard, domicile, caste and Aadhaar ready in scanned form.
  • Choose E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny and complete document verification by July 23, 2026.
  • Pay the CAP processing fee online and save the confirmation receipt.
  • Check the provisional merit list on July 26, 2026 and note the assigned merit number.
