MAH MArch CET CAP 2026 Provisional Merit List Out; Raise Objections by August 14

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has released the provisional merit list. It covers the Maharashtra Master of Architecture Common Entrance Test (MAH MArch CET) 2026 admissions round. The list is now live on the official CAP portal at march2026.mahacet.org.in.

The grievance window against the provisional merit list is now open. The last date to submit online objections is August 14, 2026. Objections must be filed through the candidate login on the same portal.

The MAH MArch CET is a state-level entrance test for postgraduate architecture programmes. It is used for admission to two-year MArch courses across Maharashtra. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is conducted by the State CET Cell.

How to Check the MAH MArch CET CAP 2026 Provisional Merit List?

The merit list is available only through the candidate dashboard. Candidates must log in with their application credentials to view it. Follow the steps below carefully.

• Visit the official CAP portal at march2026.mahacet.org.in.
• Click on the "Candidate Login" link on the homepage.
• Enter your MAH MArch CET application number and password.
• Open the "Provisional Merit List" tab from the dashboard.
• Verify your merit number, exam score, category and personal details.
• Download or print the merit list for future reference.

How to Raise Objections Against the Provisional Merit List?

Candidates who spot errors in their merit details can file objections online. The grievance window is open till August 14, 2026. No offline grievances will be accepted by the CET Cell.

• Log in to the candidate portal at march2026.mahacet.org.in.
• Open the "Grievance" or "Objection" tab in the dashboard.
• Select the specific field where you have spotted an error.
• Upload valid supporting documents to prove your claim.
• Submit the objection and save the acknowledgement for records.

Candidates may raise objections on any of the following details.

• Incorrect merit number or CAP rank
• Wrong MAH MArch CET score
• Category or reservation status mismatch
• Missing EWS, TFWS, PWD or defence tag
• Qualifying exam mark or degree errors
• Flagged or rejected uploaded documents

Who Should Verify the Provisional Merit List?

Every candidate who appeared for MAH MArch CET 2026 and registered for CAP must check the list. Errors that go unreported may affect seat allotment in later rounds. The provisional list decides your position before the final merit is fixed.

Reserved-category applicants must confirm their category, EWS and TFWS tags. PWD candidates must check disability status on the list. Defence quota applicants should verify their sub-category as well.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?

The CET Cell will review all valid grievances after August 14, 2026. Accepted corrections will be reflected in the final merit list. The final list will then be used for the CAP seat allotment rounds.

Candidates whose objections are rejected will not get a second chance. The final merit list will be treated as binding for admission. All further CAP notices will appear on the same portal.
