MAH M.Arch CET is a state level examination conducted for admissions in postgraduate courses for architecture in the colleges situated in Maharashtra. The DTE, Maharashtra is the conducting authority for this examination. The basic eligibility criteria to appear in MAH M.Arch CET is to have a bachelor degree in architecture with at least 50% aggregate marks(45% for SC/ST candidates) from an AICTE recognized institution. The entrance exam is conducted online every year around the month of July. Candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination of B.Arch can also apply for MAH M.Arch CET 2021.

MAH M.Arch CET 2021: Exam Highlights
The examination will be conducted only in online mode. The application process for the examination shall be completely online and no other modes of application will be accepted. Some important features of the examination are mentioned below:
|Registration||Registration process for MAH M.Arch CET 2021 will start in March 2021 and the last to date to submit the application will be April 2021|
|Syllabus for entrance exam||The syllabus comprises five main topics-Building Technology, Environment, Architecture History and Humanities, Settlement, design and planning, and Current Architecture Practice. These are almost similar to the B.Arch syllabus studied at graduation level.|
|Validity of Exam||The exam is accepted by all the government aided as well as unaided institutes subjected to the recognition as per the act. The seats will be allotted to the candidates through a centralized admission process|
|Reservation Criteria||The reservations for backward class and persons with disabilities are available only for the students belonging to Maharashtra. Candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT(NT-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D), OBC, SBC and SEBC categories domiciled in the state of Maharashtra are eligible to avail reservation.|

The basic eligibility criteria to appear in MAH M.Arch CET are mentioned below:
Only Indian nationals can apply
Must have a bachelor degree in architecture from an institute recognised by AICTE or council of architecture or central or state government.
Minimum marks in graduation shall be 50%(45% in case of backward class and PwD students belonging to the state of Maharashtra only)

Patten and Syllabus
MAH M.Arch CET 2021: Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The examination will be conducted in online mode only. All the questions in the online exam will be in MCQ form and each question will carry two marks. For all the questions there will be 5 options out of which one will be the correct answers. There shall be no penalty for incorrect answers or unanswered questions. Total time allotted for online exam will be 60 minutes and the medium of examination will be English language only. The questions will basically cover the course structure studied by the candidates at the graduate level. The syllabus for the exam will consist of topics like Building Technology, Environment, Architecture history, Settlement, design and planning, and Current Architecture Practice. From every topic, there will be 10 questions of 2 marks each and the total number of questions will be 50. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the authority may conduct an offline mode of test. The candidates will be intimated if any such occurrence came into action. In case of scribe, the candidate shall bring duly filled scribe form and the candidates have to arrange the scribe on their own. A person entitled as a scribe for a candidate cannot be a scribe for any other candidate. In case if any rules regarding the scribe violated by any candidate then the candidature for scribe and the concerned candidate will be cancelled.
MAH M.Arch CET 2021: Syllabus
The syllabus will cover the topics which the candidate has studied at the graduate level. There are mainly five topics prescribed for the exam-Building Technology, Environment, Architecture History and Humanities, Settlement, design and planning, and Current Architecture Practice. Every section will carry 10 questions of 2 marks each. The detailed syllabus is discussed below:

The admit card for MAH M.Arch CET 2021 is likely to be released by 2nd week of May 2021. The admit card will be released when the date of the examination will be finalized. Admit card can be downloaded online from the official website of the exam conducting authority. Candidates are supposed to download and print the admit card as no hard copy of admit card shall be sent to any candidate through post. Candidates can download the admit card online by entering registration id and password. The admit card is one of the most important documents related to the exam. Without an admit card no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall. Admit card contains the personal details of the candidate including photograph, signature and the exam roll number. It has all the details regarding the venue and schedule of the examination.
Candidates can check and download the results/scorecard from the official website. The result for MAH M.Arch CET 2021 is likely to be declared around the 2nd week of June 2021. Candidates can check their result online by entering the registration id/roll number and password.

MAH M.Arch CET 2021 Counselling
MAH M.Arch CET is conducted for admissions in all the government as well as private colleges and universities that are situated in the state of Maharashtra only. There are no single window counseling procedures for admission and allotment of seats in the colleges. After the declaration of result candidates can apply for the colleges individually according to their preferences. Candidates must check individual eligibility criteria and the cutoff for the colleges in which they are applying for admission.
