The State CET Cell Maharashtra has released the MAH MBA CET 2026 CAP Round 1 seat allotment and cutoff at mba2026.mahacet.org.in. Candidates must confirm allotted seats between August 3 and August 5, 2026.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the MAH MBA CET 2026 CAP Round 1 seat allotment. The result went live on August 2, 2026. Candidates can check the allotted college and category cutoff at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
The allotment covers MMS, MBA, and PGDM seats in Maharashtra institutes. Cutoffs vary by college, category, and reservation quota. Top institutes recorded very high closing percentiles in Round 1.

How to Check MAH MBA CET 2026 CAP Round 1 Allotment?
- Visit the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
- Click the CAP Round 1 allotment result link on the homepage.
- Log in using the application ID and password.
- View the allotted college, category, and cutoff details.
- Download and save the provisional allotment letter.
How to Confirm the Allotted Seat?
Candidates who receive a seat must respond between August 3 and 5. Three response options are available on the portal. Each option shapes the outcome for Round 2.
- Freeze: Accept the current allotment as final.
- Float: Accept now but seek an upgrade across institutes.
- Slide: Accept now but seek an upgrade within the same institute.
Candidates who do not respond within the window lose the allotted seat. They also stand excluded from further CAP rounds.
Documents Required at Reporting
- MAH MBA CET 2026 scorecard and admit card
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Graduation degree and all semester mark sheets
- Category and caste validity certificate, where applicable
- Non-Creamy Layer certificate, where applicable
- Maharashtra domicile certificate for state quota seats
JBIMS Mumbai touched a perfect 100 percentile at the top end. Only a small pool of Open category seats opens under state quota. That is why the closing percentile stays close to 99.89 year after year.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in to mba2026.mahacet.org.in and download the allotment letter.
- Read the allotted college, category, and fee heads carefully.
- Choose one option from Freeze, Float, or Slide.
- Submit the response on the portal before August 5, 2026.
- Keep all original documents and photocopies ready for reporting.
- If unsatisfied, prepare for Round 2 choice filling from August 7.
The vacant seat list drops on August 6, 2026. Round 2 choice filling opens the next day at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
