MCC NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration Begins; Check Last Date to Apply

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened NEET MDS 2026 Round 1 registration on the official portal at mcc.nic.in. NEET MDS is the entrance examination for Master of Dental Surgery programmes. Eligible candidates can register for Round 1 until August 23, 2026.

The counselling covers 50 percent All India Quota seats, along with seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities and AFMS institutions. Only candidates who qualified NEET MDS 2026 can participate in the MCC counselling process.

MCC has released the complete schedule covering all counselling rounds. Candidates who miss Round 1 can register in later rounds.

NEET MDS 2026 Counselling Fee

The fee and refundable security deposit vary by category. The registration fee is non-refundable. The security deposit is fully refunded after the counselling process ends.

Payment is accepted through net banking, credit card, debit card, and UPI.

How to Register for NEET MDS 2026 Round 1 Counselling?

The entire registration process is conducted online through the MCC portal. Candidates should keep their NEET MDS 2026 login details and documents ready before starting.

1. Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the MDS Medical Counselling 2026 section.
3. Select the new registration option.
4. Enter your NEET MDS 2026 roll number and password.
5. Fill in the required personal, academic and registration details.
6. Pay the applicable registration fee and security deposit.
7. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
8. Submit the application and save the confirmation page.

Documents Required for NEET MDS Counselling

Candidates should keep scanned copies of the following documents ready:

• NEET MDS 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• BDS degree certificate and marksheets for all years
• Internship completion certificate
• BDS registration certificate issued by the Dental Council
• Category certificate, where applicable
• PwD certificate, where applicable
• Valid government photo ID
• Recent passport-size photographs

Can Candidates Participate in State MDS Counselling Too?

Yes. State MDS counselling will run separately alongside the MCC process. State authorities will conduct their own counselling for seats under their respective state quotas and other applicable categories.

The state Round 1 counselling schedule runs from August 21 to September 1, 2026. Candidates can participate in both MCC and state counselling where they meet the eligibility requirements.

2. Register using your NEET MDS 2026 roll number and password.
3. Pay the applicable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
4. Keep BDS, NEET MDS, internship and registration documents ready in scanned form.
5. Complete registration before August 23, 2026.
6. Fill and lock your preferred colleges and MDS courses within the choice-filling window.
7. Check the Round 1 allotment result on August 26, 2026.
