MCC Releases NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 Revised Seat Matrix at mcc.nic.in; Check Choice Filling Update

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised Round 2 seat matrix for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) Counselling 2025 at mcc.nic.in. The notice is dated June 4, 2026. The revision follows fresh inputs from participating institutes.

The update adds newly approved super specialty seats to the Round 2 pool. It also withdraws one seat where an institute could not retain its allotment. Registered candidates must review the updated matrix before final seat allotment.

MCC has also extended the Round 2 choice filling window. It will remain open until further orders are issued. Candidates can unlock previously locked choices and revise their preferences now.

NEET SS counselling is conducted by MCC under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). It allots seats in DM, MCh, and DNB super specialty courses across India.

How to Unlock and Revise Choices on the MCC Portal?

The unlock facility is open on the candidate dashboard. It lets aspirants edit their saved Round 2 choice list. Use the steps below to revise your preferences.

1. Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
2. Open the Super Speciality Counselling 2025 section on the homepage.
3. Log in with your NEET SS roll number and password.
4. Click on the unlock option for previously locked choices.
5. Add the newly listed institutes and super specialty seats.
6. Rearrange the preference order based on your priority list.
7. Lock the revised choice list before the round closes.

Why the Choice Filling Window Was Extended

Several institutes submitted fresh seat approvals after the original notice. MCC had already opened Round 2 choice filling by then. Extending the window lets candidates factor in these new seats.

The unlock facility protects earlier saved choices from being lost. Aspirants can build on their existing preference list. This avoids re-entering the entire list from scratch.
