WBUT PGET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended at pget.examflix.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) has extended the West Bengal Postgraduate Entrance Test (WBUT PGET) 2026 registration deadline on the official portal at pget.examflix.in. Candidates can now submit the application form till June 5, 2026.

The earlier last date for online registration was June 3, 2026. MAKAUT has granted a two-day extension to aspirants. The WBUT PGET 2026 entrance test will be conducted on June 14, 2026.

MAKAUT, formerly the West Bengal University of Technology, conducts this entrance test annually. The exam is the gateway for postgraduate admissions in Engineering and Technology. Pharmacy postgraduate courses also fall under WBUT PGET.

The university has flagged one critical point on its portal. Courses not recognised by AICTE or PCI will not be granted admission by colleges. Candidates should verify the recognition status of their target programme.

The application process is fully online. No offline submission mode is available this year. Follow the steps below to complete the registration on time.

How to Pay the WBUT PGET 2026 Application Fee?

The application fee is payable only through the online payment gateway. Cheques and postal orders are not accepted by MAKAUT. Bank charges, if any, must be borne by the applicant.

Accepted payment modes include net banking, debit card, and credit card. Visa and Mastercard variants are supported on the portal. The fee is non-refundable once the payment is made.

What Is the WBUT PGET 2026 Exam Mode?

The entrance test will be held in computer-based test (CBT) format. Candidates can choose between two CBT modes during the registration step. One mode allows the exam at an institute centre.

The other mode permits the exam on a personal device. In that case, the candidate must arrange stable internet bandwidth. The signature on the admit card and attendance sheet must match the uploaded one.
