What the Round 1 Allotment Means for Candidates?

Round 1 gives candidates their first shot at a preferred college. Allotted candidates must report physically to the assigned institute. Reporting needs original documents and payment of the college fee.

Non-reporting leads to cancellation of the seat. It also results in forfeiture of the security deposit. Candidates who reject the seat may try Round 2 fresh.

How to Check the Revised Round 1 Schedule?

Candidates can access the revised notice on the official MCC portal. Follow the steps listed below to view the updated schedule.

  1. Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling section on the homepage.
  3. Open the Current Events or Notices tab from the menu.
  4. Click on the revised Round 1 schedule notice dated August 19, 2026.
  5. Download the PDF and save a copy for reference.
Why This Matters

This is the second revision to Round 1 within a week. Candidates who missed earlier deadlines get a fresh chance to lock choices. Delayed reporting can still cancel the allotted seat. Timelines must be tracked daily on the MCC portal.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to mcc.nic.in and confirm your choice list is locked.
  2. Note the revised allotment and reporting dates from the official notice.
  3. Keep all original documents ready for verification at the allotted institute.
  4. Arrange the security deposit and first-year college fee in advance.
  5. Track the MCC website daily for the Round 1 allotment result.
Keep an Eye On

Watch mcc.nic.in for the Round 1 seat allotment result and revised reporting window. Round 2 registration dates are expected to follow soon after.
