MSIT Delhi Opens BTech Management Quota Admission 2026-27; Check Last Date to Apply

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) has opened applications for BTech Management Quota Admission 2026-27. Eligible candidates can obtain and submit the application form in online or offline mode. The last date to submit the Management Quota application form is August 2, 2026.

The application process started on July 14, 2026, and candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 2,500. Admission-related information is available on the official website at msit.in.

MSIT is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The institute is approved by the UGC and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade.

MSIT BTech Management Quota Admission 2026-27 Key Details

The Management Quota covers 10% of the total sanctioned intake in each BTech branch. The remaining 90% of seats are generally filled through the central GGSIPU counselling process. Institutional counselling for Management Quota seats is conducted by MSIT.

MSIT Management Quota Admission Schedule 2026-27

Branches Offered Under Management Quota

MSIT offers Management Quota admission across four BTech branches for the 2026-27 academic session:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• Information Technology (IT)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

The first counselling for these branches will be conducted on August 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM onwards, according to the merit list. The counselling venue is the MSIT Auditorium.

MSIT BTech Lateral Entry Admission 2026

Lateral entry admission to the second year of BTech is available in the following branches:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Information Technology

The lateral entry seats mentioned in the schedule are available for the first shift. Counselling will begin at 10:00 AM on August 7, 2026, at the MSIT Auditorium.

This admission route is intended for eligible diploma holders seeking direct admission to the second year of the BTech programme.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. Applicants should meet the minimum academic requirements prescribed by GGSIPU and MSIT for Management Quota admission.

Applicants may also be required to provide their JEE Main 2026 details. The merit list will be displayed on August 4, 2026, based on the applicable qualifying examination criteria.
