MSIT Delhi Opens BTech Management Quota Admission 2026-27; Check Last Date to Apply

The Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) has opened applications for the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Management Quota Admission 2026-27 on the official website at msit.in. Eligible candidates can submit the online application form through the dedicated portal until July 31, 2026.

MSIT is a Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) affiliated self-financed institute in Delhi. It holds NAAC Grade A accreditation and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

MSIT BTech Management Quota 2026-27 Key Details

The Management Quota covers 10 percent of the total sanctioned intake in each BTech branch. The remaining 90 percent seats are filled through the central IPU counselling process. Institutional counselling is conducted by MSIT for these Management Quota seats.

Branches Offered Under Management Quota

MSIT offers Management Quota seats across four BTech branches for the 2026-27 session. Lateral entry seats are also open for three of these branches at the second-year level.

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• Information Technology (IT)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Lateral entry to the second year is available in CSE, IT, and ECE. This route is meant for eligible diploma holders seeking direct entry into the BTech programme.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. As per admission norms for the quota, applicants should have scored 80 percent aggregate in the qualifying board examination.

Applicants must also have appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The final merit list for Management Quota seats is prepared using aggregate marks in the Class 12 board examination.
