What Happens After the Result Declaration?

The role of NTA concludes with the result and cutoff declaration. Further merit lists, seat allocation, and counselling now shift to other authorities. Admission bodies for AYUSH courses handle their own counselling process separately.

Course Stream Counselling Authority
All India Quota MBBS and BDS (15 percent seats) Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)
State Quota MBBS and BDS (85 percent seats) Respective State Counselling Authorities
BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC)
Why This Cutoff Rise Matters

The General category cutoff of 715 to 213 is the highest ever in NEET UG history. It reflects sharper competition for MBBS and BDS seats this admission cycle. Aspirants should plan their college preferences carefully during MCC counselling.
