NEHU Final Year Exam 2020 commences on October 7, Read Details
North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has finally issued dates for Final Year Exam 2020 for even-semester students. It is likely to be held from October 7, 2020 following UGC Guidelines.
NEHU has issued an official notification that reads, “The NEHU Final Year Exams 2020 will start from 7th October and will continue until 16th October 2020.” NEHU, on nehu.ac.in, will also issue subject-wise date-sheet for NEHU Exam 2020. Results are likely to be declared in October 2020.

NEHU: Courses Included in Final Exam 2020
The official notification from college administration also marks that final year students from all courses are required to appear in their end semester examination. Final year students who are part of postgraduate, undergraduate, even professional and vocational courses such as B. Tech, B.Ed. and Law will have to sit in the examination.
Ongoing Arrangements for the conduct of Examination
Following strict standard operation procedure (SOP) college administration has initiated preparations for conducting NEHU Final Year Exams 2020.
Exam centres will be properly sanitized. Thermal scanning will be followed before entry on campus. Social distancing will be followed strictly inside the campus. Wearing a face mask is a must for every person inside the centre.
College administration had already extended the deadline to conduct final year examination as granted by UGC. Whole exam procedure was supposed to start by Early September and end by month-end.
Candidates appearing in the examination
Around 24,000 students, including 2,000 postgraduate students, will be appearing for the final year examinations. Abiding by the rules of social distancing, University administration is planning to use the school facility for the safer conduct of Examination.
Schools that served as quarantine centres during COVID-19 have been vacated and properly sanitized for holding of university-level exams.
