NIT Hamirpur MTech, MArch Self-Sponsored Admission 2026-27 Open; Check Walk-in Interview Date

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur has opened admissions for 2026-27. The intake is for Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Architecture (MArch) programmes. Both are Full-Time Self-Sponsored seats offered at nith.ac.in. The official advertisement has been uploaded to the Institute's notices section.

• Open, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates need at least 60% marks.
• A CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale is also accepted.
• SC, ST, and PwD candidates need at least 55% marks.
• A CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale is accepted for them.
• The qualifying degree must be BTech, BE, or BArch.

MTech and MArch Programmes Offered

NIT Hamirpur offers MTech across multiple engineering disciplines. The programmes span core engineering and emerging technology domains. The MArch programme is offered by the Department of Architecture.

Fee Structure and Application Charges

Self-Sponsored seats attract higher fees than the regular intake. The Institute does not offer scholarships under this category. Candidates must consult the brochure for the semester-wise fee schedule.

An application processing fee is required at the time of applying. The fee is Rs 500 for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates. It is Rs 300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Payment is made online through SBI Collect. The processing fee is non-refundable.
