NMC Releases Final List of Medical Colleges; Check UG/ PG Vacant Seats, Courses and other details here

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission(NMC) has released the final list of medical colleges along with the number of seats for UG and PG Courses after approval by MARB in the year 2023-24. Candidates can check the list of colleges by visiting the official website of the Commission at nmc.org.in. 

The list contains 1,275 medical colleges. The MARB said that it has come to notice that several forged letters of permission (to start admission for new PG and UG seats) have been issued to various medical colleges on behalf of the member or president of the board even though no such communications have been sent to the colleges in this regard.

“Medical Commission recently that several forged/fake letters of permission have been issued to various colleges on behalf of Member/President, MARB whereas no such communications have been sent to the Colleges in this regard,” reads the official notification. “lt is clarified that this is these are the colleges approvals, LOPs or renewal given for this academic year,” the notice further reads.

The Commission has also asked the colleges to not pay attention to any fake letters in circulation, and reach out to NMC in case of issues. 

“If any discrepancies are found /noticed by any stakeholder/general public, then it may be brought to the notice of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission immediately so that necessary action can be taken in such matters without any delay,” NMC urged.

How to Check NMC Medical Colleges Final List 2023-24?

• Visit the official website of the National Medical Commission(NMC) at nmc.org.in.
• On the homepage, look for the link that reads,” Final List of Colleges with total number of Seats (UGs & PGs) after Approval by MARB in Year 2023-24.”
• A new PDF document will appear on the screen.
• Go through the notice carefully.
• Take a printout of it for future reference.
