New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the Minimum Standard Requirement for Post Graduate Courses 2023 (PGMSR 2023). You can check the detailed guidelines on the official website of NMC at nmc.org.in.

As per the official notification, “Every medical college shall have an adequate number of cameras at the prescribed locations of cameras with Close Circuit Cameras”.
“Every institute should have its website which will contain the details of departments with available facilities, contact details of the faculty, details of the admitted students, and details of clinical workload for each department separately,” added the notification from the NMC.

NMC Minimum Standard Requirement for Post Graduate Courses 2023
The list of criteria given by the National Medical Commission are as follows:
- Adequate space and sufficient examination cubicles should be available in the Out-Patient Department and one teaching room for each teaching department with a place for students during clinical case discussions.
- Faculty should be full-time and not engage in private practice during college hours.
- The faculty must have 75% attendance of total working days.
- There shall be digital data of investigations done in various Departments/Laboratories
- About 80% of the hospital beds should be occupied annually by patients who require inpatient care.
- A minimum of 15% of the total beds in the Department imparting PG training should be Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds/High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds exclusively of that Department.
