Odisha Class 12 Assessment Scheme For Cancelled Exams Released; Check Details Here

The Odisha Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has cancelled the remaining Class 12 Board Exams. The Council has released an alternative assessment process to evaluate the remaining papers.

As per the evaluation scheme released on the official website of Odisha CHSE, the students who completed all the exams, their result will be on the basis of their performances.

Students who appeared in more than 3 papers, the average of the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the theory part of the cancelled examinations.

Students who appeared in only 3 subjects, the average of the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the theory of remaining papers.

For Compartmental exams, if a student managed to appear in the exams, marks will be allotted on the basis of that. However if a student couldn't appear in all the required papers, the average of the marks obtained in any theory paper/papers held this year will be awarded.

 Students must note that, for the calculation of average marks, practical marks will not be considered.

Odisha CHSE assessment scheme is almost similar to the assessment scheme of CBSE, released for CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12.

The Council also said that it will conduct optional examinations for the Odisha Class 12 cancelled examinations, once the situation stabilizes. The students who will opt to appear in the optional exams, the marks obtained in them will be treated as final.

When Will Odisha Class 10 and Class 12 Results Declare?

According to the reports, Odisha CHSE will declare Class 10 and Class 12 results 2020 for Science stream in the first week of July 2020. 

Odisha Class 12 results for Commerce & Arts Streams will be declared in the third week of July 2020.

Students can check the result on the official website of Odisha Board orissaresults.nic.in

They can also avail the facility of receiving the result via SMS. 

How To Get Odisha Class 10 Results Via SMS?

Students of Class 10 can also receive their Odisha Board Result 2020 through SMS. Follow the steps below for the same:

Write a message 'OR10' and send it to 5676750. Post that a confirmation message will be received. Students will get their results once it is out on their respective numbers.
