Parul University plans an August 2027 intake for several Vadodara courses. BDes applicants must take PU-DAT, scheduled for 23 and 26 January 2027. Common application deadlines for BTech, MBA, BBA and BCA are yet to be announced.
Eligibility and selection depend on the course. The PU-DAT dates apply to design; engineering and management follow their own admission process. Goa campus applications are separate.

Parul University 2027 Eligibility and Selection

CUET is not compulsory for all Parul courses. BDes requires PU-DAT, while medical courses follow the applicable entrance and counselling rules. MBA applicants must use the accepted exams for their chosen specialisation.
BDes Admission and PU-DAT 2027
Parul Institute of Design offers BDes in communication, product, UX and interaction, fashion, interior and furniture, and film and animation fields. Students from Science, Commerce or Arts may apply after Class 12 if they studied English. The institute requires PU-DAT for BDes selection.
PU-DAT is a three-hour online test with multiple-choice questions, creative written questions and a portfolio. The portfolio carries 100 of 200 marks and must be submitted as a PDF or PPT; video files are not accepted. Formal drawing training is not required.
After registration and course selection, BDes applicants take PU-DAT. Selected students make the provisional admission payment and complete document checks before final confirmation.

Applicants register on the university admission portal, enter personal and academic details, choose a course and pay its registration fee. The fee depends on the programme.
