KJ Somaiya MBA Admission 2027-29 Begins; Check Last Date to Apply

The KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) has opened MBA 2027-29 admissions. Applications are live on the official portal at kjsim.somaiya.edu. Candidates can submit forms on or before January 20, 2027.

The last time to apply is 11:59 PM on the closing date. The Mumbai-based institute is AACSB and NAAC accredited. It offers the flagship MBA plus three specialised MBA tracks.

Programmes Offered and Seat Intake

KJSIM is inviting applications for four MBA programmes for the 2027-29 batch. The largest intake is available in the flagship MBA programme. The three specialised programmes have smaller cohorts of 30 seats each.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a three-year undergraduate degree from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate score required is 50 percent. The degree must be awarded by an institution recognised by AIU or AICTE.

Students appearing for their final-year examinations in April or May 2027 may also apply. They must submit proof of passing by August 31, 2027.

Accepted Entrance Exams

KJSIM accepts scores from several national-level management entrance tests. Candidates may apply using any one valid score.

Applicants to specialised MBA programmes may also submit scores from MAT, ATMA, PERA-CET, or CUET.

Hostel charges are quoted separately at the time of admission. All payments are accepted only through the online portal.

What Is the Selection Process?

KJSIM follows a merit-based selection process for the flagship MBA programme. The component-wise weightages for the merit route are listed below.

A separate profile-based selection track is available for candidates with 12 to 42 months of work experience. Under this route, the personal interview carries 40 percent weightage.
