Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering (PESMCOE) Pune has opened admissions. The college has released the ILIACAP and ACAP admission notice for 2026-27. Candidates can apply online through the official portal at moderncoe.edu.in. The notice covers First Year Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. Lateral Entry candidates for direct second year admission can also apply.

ILIACAP stands for Institute Level against the Centralised Admission Process. ACAP refers to Against CAP admissions run by the institute. These streams supplement the regular DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds each year. Students unable to secure seats through DTE CAP can use these windows.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility rules differ across the six application streams. UG aspirants must meet Class 12 subject and score requirements. Diploma holders can enter directly into the second year.

First Year UG Eligibility

Candidates must have passed HSC with Physics and Mathematics. They must also have one additional approved subject. The minimum aggregate score is 45 percent for open category. Reserved category candidates need at least 40 percent. A valid MHT CET 2026 or JEE Main 2026 score is required.

Lateral Entry (ACAP) Eligibility

Diploma holders must have secured at least 45 percent in the qualifying diploma. B.Sc graduates with Mathematics at Class 12 level are also eligible. Reserved category candidates need 40 percent in the diploma.
