Tamil Nadu B. Arch. Application Process starts for Admissions 2020-21, apply @tneaonline.org

Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu has started the online application process for admissions to Bachelors of Architecture (B. Arch.) for the A.Y 2020-21.

Students can fill the application form online on the official website of tneaonline.org. Applicants must have a valid score of NATA 2020, an exam conducted by the Council of Architecture.

Tamil Nadu B. Arch. Admission 2020: Selection Criteria

Below mentioned are the selection criterias for Tamil Nadu B.Arch Admission 2020

• The admission criteria for the students will be based on the NATA 2020 score as well as class 12th marks or diploma marks. 
• The officials will standardize/normalize class 12th/diploma marks to 200 and also NATA score to 200. 
• The merit list will be released on the aggregate of 400 marks (200 marks of class 12th and 200 marks of NATA). 
• The Seat Allotments will be done on the basis of Rank List and the preferences of the colleges selected by the candidates during the registration.

Tamil Nadu B. Arch. Admission 2020: How to apply online?

These are the steps that must be followed for applying for B.Arch. program:

• Visit on the official website of the Institute tneaonline.org.
• Click on the ‘B. Arch registration link’.
• Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’.
• Fill the credentials asked.
• Submit the scanned copies of required documents like class 12th mark sheet, etc. 
• Tamil Nadu B.Arch counseling fee of Rs. 500.
• Submit the form, download it, and take a print out for future reference.

Documents Required for the Application process

The following documents are required and must be uploaded while filling the application form:

• Class 10, 11, and 12 certificates,
• Class 12 hall ticket 
• NATA scorecard,
• Nativity certificates, 
• Permanent community certificate card for SC, ST, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM, and other certificates of reservation (if applicable).
• Candidates applying through sports quota are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and must possess various certificates.
