The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has published the TNEA Rank List 2020 at on September 28, 2020. Get the direct link to check here.

The release date of the TNEA 2020 rank list was earlier than September 25, but due to unavoidable reasons it was shifted today.

This year, the TNEA committee has received 1,60,834 applications for the online counselling.

Among them, only 1,31,436 candidates have paid the application fee and 1,14,206 candidates have uploaded their certificates.

The community wise rank lists will also be published on the website of the Technical Education Directorate, or, along with the overall ranking.

Applicants should note that separate announcements regarding the rank list will not be given in newspapers.

Based on their overall rank and community rank, the college and the branch will be temporarily allocated by online counselling only, as per their choice.

If any candidate fails to produce the required original certificates or forms, the next candidate in rank will be assigned his/her position and so on.

The consequential vacancy at the end of the rank list will be filled according to their ranks from among the additional candidates.

Candidates should follow the following steps to check and download the TNEA 2020 rank list.

  2. Click on the 2020 TNEA Rank List link
  3. Using the required credentials, login
  4. The TNEA 2020 rank list will be displayed in pdf format on the screen.
  5. Applicants can verify and download the rank list

This year, through TNEA 2020, a total of 1,61,877 seats in 458 colleges will be available for admission.

The position of the candidates on the TNEA rank list will be in the order of merit. In Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the candidate score in Class 12 marks defines the merit position in the TNEA rank list.

What After TNEA Rank List 2020

Applicants who have their name on the rank list will be eligible for rounds of counselling and seat allocation. Candidates will be allocated seats according to their choices filled in during the registration of counselling and position on the TNEA rank list.
