The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the TANCET 2026 MBA Provisional Allotment. Allotted candidates can download the order from tn-mbamca.com. The list went live on August 9, 2026.
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state-level entrance exam. Anna University conducts it every year for MBA and MCA admissions. DoTE handles the centralised online counselling for Tamil Nadu institutes.
Only candidates who confirmed their tentative allotment by August 7 feature on the list. The order carries the allotted college code, course, and category. Applicants must now report at the assigned college for final admission.

How to Download the TANCET 2026 Provisional Allotment Order?
The allotment order is issued only through the candidate login portal. Follow these steps to access and download it.
- Visit the official portal at tn-mbamca.com.
- Click on the candidate login link.
- Enter your application number and password to sign in.
- Open the provisional allotment tab on your dashboard.
- Download and take a printout of the allotment order.
The printed order is a mandatory document for reporting. Candidates must carry it during the physical admission process at the college.
What Is the TANCET 2026 Counselling Fee?
A non-refundable processing fee applies during counselling registration. General category candidates pay Rs 800. Reserved category candidates pay Rs 400.
Payment is accepted only through online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. This fee is separate from the tuition fee charged by the allotted college.
Who Can Attend the Supplementary Counselling?
DoTE will hold supplementary counselling for the remaining vacant MBA seats. This round is meant for three specific groups of candidates.
- Candidates who did not receive any tentative allotment.
- Candidates who did not complete the choice filling step.
- Candidates who declined their tentative or provisional allotment.
The round runs at Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, in offline mode. On August 11, 2026, candidates with TANCET marks between 50 and 100 will attend. On August 12, 2026, candidates scoring below 50 will report at the same venue.
Documents Required for Reporting
Candidates should keep a set of originals and photocopies ready. Missing documents can lead to loss of the allotted seat.

- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets.
