How to Exercise Web Options and Lock Choices?
After completing certificate verification, candidates must log in to the counselling portal and select their preferred colleges and branches.
The order in which candidates enter their preferences plays an important role in seat allotment. Candidates should include as many acceptable options as possible to improve their chances of receiving a seat.
Once the choices are locked and the deadline has passed, candidates may not be able to modify their preferences. Therefore, applicants should carefully review their option list before final submission.
What Happens After Seat Allotment?
Candidates who receive a seat must download their provisional allotment order from the official portal. They will also need to pay the applicable tuition fee and complete self-reporting online.
After completing the online formalities, candidates must report physically to the allotted college within the notified reporting window. Failure to report within the deadline can result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
This is the final counselling round of TS PGECET 2026. Candidates who miss this window will have no further chance to secure a seat in the current academic session. It is also the entry point for admissions to premier state universities such as Osmania University, JNTU Hyderabad and Kakatiya University.
