UP DGME has opened Round 3 registration for UP NEET MDS 2026 state quota counselling at upneet.gov.in on October 6, 2026. Candidates must register, pay the Rs 2,000 fee and submit the security deposit within the notified window.
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has opened the Round 3 registration for the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (UP NEET MDS) 2026 counselling on the official portal at upneet.gov.in. The window went live on October 6, 2026 for admissions to state quota MDS seats across government and private dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
Round 3 is open to candidates who qualified NEET MDS 2026 and meet the state eligibility rules fixed by DGME. Fresh candidates may also register in this round. Those already registered in earlier rounds must complete fresh choice filling for Round 3.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Only candidates who qualified the NEET MDS 2026 examination conducted by NBEMS can apply. The candidate must also satisfy the Uttar Pradesh domicile and other state eligibility conditions laid down by DGME.

How to Register for UP NEET MDS Round 3 2026?
Candidates can complete Round 3 registration on upneet.gov.in by following the steps below.
- Visit the official portal at upneet.gov.in and open the Round 3 counselling link.
- Enter the NEET MDS 2026 roll number, application number and date of birth.
- Fill in personal, academic and category details as per the certificates.
- Pay the registration fee of Rs 2,000 online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- Deposit the applicable security amount using the online payment facility.
- Submit the form and save the system-generated acknowledgement for future reference.
Fees and Security Deposit Rules
The registration fee is Rs 2,000 and is non-refundable. It must be paid separately for each counselling round.
The security deposit is Rs 30,000 for seats in government dental colleges. For seats in private dental colleges, the deposit is Rs 2,00,000. The deposit is refunded as per the terms in the information brochure.
Round 3 of UP NEET MDS counselling also carries out seat conversion. Government seats left vacant may be converted and offered under the private pool. This often changes the final seat matrix significantly for candidates.
