West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee has released the AYUSH UG Counselling 2026 schedule. Online registration for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS admissions opens on September 17 at wbmcc.nic.in.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the WB AYUSH UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 schedule. The official notice and information bulletin are available at wbmcc.nic.in. Online registration for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates will begin at 11:00 AM on September 17, 2026.

The counselling covers admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS courses. It includes State Quota seats in government AYUSH colleges and Management Quota and All India Quota seats in private AYUSH colleges.

Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, document verification and choice filling within the prescribed schedule. The Round 1 allotment result will be published after 4:00 PM on September 25, 2026.

WB AYUSH UG Counselling 2026 Registration Fee

The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid online within the specified payment window.

  • General, OBC and EWS candidates: Rs 2,000
  • SC, ST and PwD candidates: Rs 1,500

Who Is Eligible for WB AYUSH UG Counselling 2026?

Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 to participate in the counselling process. West Bengal domicile is required for admission under the 85 per cent State Quota.

Non-domicile candidates can apply only for the 15 per cent All India Quota seats available in private AYUSH colleges.

WBMCC accepts the following three domicile proformas:

  • Proforma A1: Candidates who have continuously resided in West Bengal for at least ten years as of December 31, 2025.
  • Proforma A2: Candidates fulfilling the ten-year residency requirement and having completed Class 12 from a school in West Bengal.
  • Proforma B: Candidates whose parents have been permanent residents of West Bengal for at least ten years.

How to Register for WB AYUSH UG Counselling 2026?

  1. Visit the official portal at wbmcc.nic.in.
  2. Open the UG AYUSH Counselling 2026 section.
  3. Click on the new candidate registration link.
  4. Register using the NEET UG 2026 roll number and other required credentials.
  5. Enter the personal, academic and domicile details.
  6. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
  7. Pay the non-refundable registration fee online.
  8. Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.

Candidates who complete registration and fee payment must report to the software-designated college and time slot for verification. After allotment, candidates must carry their original documents, required college fee and applicable bond while reporting to the allotted institute.

Why Domicile Matters

West Bengal domicile candidates hold exclusive access to 85 percent State Quota seats. Non-domicile aspirants can apply only for 15 percent private college seats. Correct proforma selection during registration is therefore critical.
