WBJEE ANM GNM 2026 Counselling Schedule Released at wbjeeb.nic.in; Registration Begins Today

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the counselling schedule for the Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 2026 admissions on its official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in. Online registration for qualified candidates opens today, August 14, 2026.

The counselling will be conducted entirely online through the WBJEEB portal. Candidates who cleared the WBJEE ANM and GNM 2026 entrance test held on June 14 are eligible to take part. The rank card for the same was released on July 29, 2026.

Seat allotment will follow a multi-round process. The Board will hold Round 1, Round 2 and a final Mop-Up round through August and September 2026. Round 1 seat allocation is expected in the second fortnight of August.

Who Is Eligible to Participate?

Only candidates who appeared in the WBJEE ANM and GNM 2026 examination and secured a rank in the merit list are eligible to register. Candidates must possess a valid rank card issued by the Board on July 29, 2026.

Candidates who do not register within the declared window will not be considered for seat allotment in any round. The Board has made no exceptions for late registration.

How to Register for WBJEE ANM GNM 2026 Counselling?

Qualified candidates must complete the counselling registration on the official WBJEEB portal within the prescribed window. The full process is online. The steps are as follows.

1. Visit the official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm.
2. Log in using the application number and password used during the exam.
3. Fill in the counselling registration form with the required details.
4. Select and lock preferred colleges and courses (ANM or GNM).
5. Pay the Rs 500 counselling fee through the available online payment modes.
6. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Fee and Payment Details

The counselling registration fee is a non-refundable Rs 500 for all candidates. Payment can be made online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, including withdrawal from counselling.

An additional seat acceptance fee will apply after allotment. The exact amount will be intimated to candidates at the time of allotment through the portal.

Seat Allotment and Reporting

Seat allotment will be based on the candidate's General Merit Rank or Category Rank, seat availability and locked choices. Allotment results will be published round-wise on the official portal.

Candidates allotted a seat must download the allotment letter and report to the designated institute within the deadline announced by the Board. Failure to report on time will cancel the allotment.
