After applying for XAT is their need to separately register for XLRI and deposit its fees separately?
Yes, you need to apply for XLRI separately. The application form of the XAT and XLRI is similar and you need to pay an extra amount for applying for XLRI. XAT exam is conducted on behalf of XAMI. You should register for admission at XLRI just before the last date to avoid any last-minute complications.
If you are registering only for XAT, you need to pay only 1500 for registration. Whereas, if you are registering also for XLRI, you need to pay 250 rupees extra.
Also, in the XAT registration if you are applying for XLRI then you are supposed to choose the program of your choice i.e. Business management/ Human resource management/ Global business management and general management program.
Are there placements at the Central University of Rajasthan?
Yes, Central University of Rajasthan offers placements but only for departments like MBA and BDA (Big Data Analysis). According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 7 LPA.
Also, it depends on the HOD, whether they will organize placement events or not. Other than the placement, CURAJ is a decent option for pursuing a degree.
What is the admission procedure in Loyola College?
The admission procedure followed at Loyola College is quite simple, unlike many other institutes. Here is how it can be bifurcated,
- You are supposed to apply on an online portal for the course that you want to pursue.
- There will be a brief mention of an online application portal which Loyola College often declares following the HSC results.
- Afterward, select the course and provide all the necessary details questioned by the college.
- If you are shortlisted, you will receive a mail, SMS, or a simple call letter to the respective address given earlier in the application.
On contrary to that, if you apply for a PG course, then you will have to follow a few additional steps to continue the admission procedure, such as an entrance exam or a brief interview session, as per what will be announced by the administration.
Are the NISM exams tough?
The difficulty level of the NISM exams ranges between average to moderately high. For some exams, the contents and way of testing could be more complicated than the others.
- The NISM Investment Advisor Exams (Level 1 and 2) contain more practicals as compared to the other courses.
- On the other hand, exams like the NISM (Series VI) Depository Operations Certification Examination contain a very high share of theory portion in their syllabus.
To pass a module, you need to secure a minimum of 60% in most of the module exams. Also the exams come with a negative marking of 25% per question.
Very few exams like NISM (Series VA) Mutual Funds Distributors Certification Examination have a minimum passing marks criteria of 50% and they do not have any negative marking.

How is TAPMI Management Institute in Manipal for doing a MBA from India for someone with 2.5 years of IT experience?
Well, it also depends on what your other options are. So I can't tell you if you should choose TAPMI.
But it's worth it if you can handle high academic rigour (which I assume is the case at every top b school) and can stay on campus for two years without going home often.
Here, you can expect a beautiful site, a well-thought-out programme, good job placements, and a quiet last 4-5 months of your MBA. TAPMI is known for placing most of its students in IT jobs, so if you come from an IT background, you have an advantage over your peers.
How is NIT Arunachal Pradesh?
My colleague did his B.Tech from NIT AP and here are the insights he shared with me about NIT Arunachal Pradesh
PROS:
Placement: In 2020, the placement rate of NIT Arunachal Pradesh was 38.53% placement as 42 out of 117 students got placed under different sectors of the industry.
- The highest package offered was INR. 12 LPA.
- The average package offered was INR. 6.2 LPA.
- Some of the top recruiters who visited the campus were Capgemini, Infosys, L&T Constructions, Cognizant, Vedanta, CGI, KEC International, etc.
- Ragging: NIT has an anti-ragging environment. Seniors are in fact very helpful and friendly.
- Faculty: Professors at NIT are average as they lack knowledge and qualifications but they are very student-friendly and keen to help you.
- Internet connectivity: The campus is equipped with unlimited high-quality Wi-Fi.
CONS:
- Infrastructure: The campus is small and not at all student-friendly.
- Facilities: Labs and other facilities are not satisfactory.
So, if you just need a degree you can join NIT Arunachal Pradesh but if you are looking for a college with high facilities like campus, labs, etc then there are colleges better than NIT AP.

To get the desired books for semester one at Delhi University, you must make a list of books that are required for that specific semester.
You can get the required books from the library but sometimes those books are not available in the library then it is a better option to get the books from the market as they can be reused always and there will be no need to return them within time as per the library rules.

Should I do my MBBS from an above average government college or one of the best private college (KMC Manipal)?
As a student of KMC Manipal, I will list down some reasons for choosing this college-
- The quality of education at KMC Manipal is at par with other top medical colleges of India.
- It has a very good infrastructure, even better than PGI which is an elite institution.
- You’ll get studious peers and dedicated faculty over here. Other than the curriculum, you’ll also be taught about all the latest developments in medicine.
- You’ll get good clinical exposure.
- KMC Manipal encourages undergraduate research. You can publish papers as a UG student too.
- The college has good foreign exchange programs.
- Your seniors will guide you on USMLE and PLAB.
- The coursework and teaching methodology is top-notch. With proper attention in class and routine revisions, you can get into AIIMS for your PG. Even for coaching, DAMS and Bhatia Classes are available near the campus. They hold weekend classes so your college studies won’t be affected.
- The college and hospital are quite safe. The classrooms and hostels are filled with all the facilities. Extracurriculars form an important part of campus life.
- The college is very strict regarding attendance, so you’ll grow into a disciplined doctor.
- Unlike many government colleges, KMC Manipal doesn’t have a rural service bond.
But there are some disadvantages too-
Manipal is very expensive, and the PG seats are even more expensive. Getting a PG seat is very difficult because of extremely high competition.
You should choose KMC Manipal over an above average government college. But make sure you are fine with the above listed disadvantages.

How good are IIIT Bangalore and Allahabad compared to IIIT Hyderabad?
When it comes to IIITs, IIIT Hyderabad is by far the BEST. IIIT Bangalore is good as well and has some good faculty, but it doesn't have the fire brand in CS that IIIT Hyderabad does. If you're looking for an advantage, IIIT B is located in Bangalore, but then again, IIIT H is located in Hyderabad, so it's not as good as IIIT H.
IIIT D and IIIT A are both government-run and have a 50% reservation. This puts them behind the above mentioned colleges. IIIT D has better faculty and is located in Delhi, which gives it a certain location advantage. However, IIIT A is an older institute. Both places are filled with Delhiwalas and UP bhai log, which doesn't help them either.
If you're a North Indian, you might like IIIT A/D more than IIIT B, and vice versa. However, almost all Indians like Hyderabad as a city. The majority of people in Hyderabad are friendly and know Hindi, so North Indians find it easier to adjust. At the same time, Hyderabad people are not language chauvinists like other South Indians (read Tamilians and Kannadigas), so that also helps. Plus, if you're a South Indian, you will easily adjust to Hyderabad since it still has a Southern Vibe to it.
In short, IIIT H is the best among the above depending on faculty/location/college life and the general atmosphere. If you're not getting IIIT H, you could try for the Top NITs (only Trichy, Warangal, and Surathkal) and then your famous state colleges like NSIT/DTU for Delhiites, Anna for Tamilians, Jadavpur for Bengalis, COEP for Marathis, etc., JNTU, etc.
