Which is better for Marketing: SPJIMR or IIM Indore?
Marketing is a focal point at SPJIMR. The marketing faculty is brilliant and extremely enthusiastic about their subjects. The faculty is welcoming and open to discussions about current events. Some of the professors are from US universities.
The course comprises interesting projects, guest lectures from industry experts and alums, and workshops that will keep you busy all day. "Fieldwork" is given a lot of credit. There are enough role clarification sessions to give you a clear picture of what the Sales and Marketing roles entail. They have interesting concepts like "A Day in the Life of a Salesman," in which students shadow a salesman on the job, a Capstone project that gives you a comprehensive understanding of marketing, and so on.
The curriculum's best feature is that it is kept as current and relevant as possible. In fact, you might want to join the Marketing Area Committee during your first year to gain more experience in this field. Digital marketing is also taken very seriously in this company. The batch profile is extremely powerful. Many of them have come from core sales/advertising roles, and their contributions to the class are significant. The good news is that we have "Autumn Internships," so by the time we have to interview for companies, we have a good idea of what the roles entail and where we want to go. What is the class timing at IIM Indore?
The following summarizes the students' daily schedule:
Students in PGP1 should note that classes typically begin at 8.45 am and last until 1 pm. There might be one or two classes after lunch. Each lesson lasts 75 minutes. The PGP Office publishes the schedule for the upcoming week online.
PGP2 students: Your choice of electives will determine your schedule. The subjects are no longer shared by the entire class in the second year. Students are free to place bids on the courses they want to take. Your classes can therefore be at any time, whether it be 8.45 am or 9.45 pm. After 9.45 pm, which ends at 11 pm, there is no class. Additionally, the classes will be dispersed.
You may have a maximum of three to four classes per day (on average). Students are expected to check the intranet at least once a day to stay up to date on recent changes because the schedule is subject to change.
How is Bhilai GATE Academy?
One of my friends attended GATE Academy. Before joining, we read several reviews to know more about GA and decided to join Bhilai GA. The institute also conducts mock tests in the 2nd, 3rd and final year to help students get prepared for the placement drive. Many, core companies, IT companies, and product development companies take part in the placement drive of the institute.
All the branches have decent academics and placement however, CS, IT, ECE are the most preferred branches at SRM Easwari Engineering College.
What's your view on the new law regarding AIIMS, JIPMER, and the NEET?
I am against this new law. Here is my reasoning for the same.
AIIMS and JIPMER entrances followed separate testing patterns, and were markers of autonomy. I never liked the NEET system. It is a central gateway for all types of students- from toppers to those aiming for 300-400 marks. As a result, it has inherited a predictable pattern with easy questions. It lacks judgment parameters like intuition, improvisation, logical thinking, general knowledge, etc.
In this scenario, AIIMS and JIPMER offered an opportunity to students with a different paper solving approach. If these students lost in NEET, they were provided an opportunity through the other two exams. With serious crowding of ranks, even with top marks, it is debatable whether NEET will select only worthy candidates.
In the past, some students scored low in NEET but performed really well in AIIMS/JIPMER. Moreover, the increased stress on a single examination will lay great burden on young students.
In spite of all this, I would recommend you focus on your preparation and perform well in the upcoming NEET exam.
Which college is better for BCA in Delhi NCR?
VIPS Delhi is a decent option for pursuing a BCA program. The placements are good companies like, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the campus placements. VIPS placement highlights show the average CTC for BCA to be around INR 3-4 LPA.

Is IIIT Delhi really good for CSE?
Yes, IIIT Delhi is an amazing choice for CSE. Here are some highlights of the institute
- Course and Curriculum: IIIT Delhi has a well-updated curriculum that is delivered through modern pedagogy. The students are given regular assignments and homework to evaluate their understanding of the concepts.
- Environment: IIIT Delhi has a very harmonious environment and has no cases of ragging at all. The seniors are always ready to guide the juniors.

I am too confused between CSE at DTU/NSIT and IIT Jodhpur. What should I do?
I can never stop emphasizing this, no matter how many options you have always go for the one that gives you the IIT tag.
I am not saying Engineering colleges like NSIT and DTU aren’t good but they are in the developing phase while IIT Jodhpur is in its developing phase. This means it will only get better. Despite being a new IIT, its average package this year was recorded at INR 21.30 LPA, which is a great feat for a new college.
Additionally, IITs receive more funding from the government to provide better research and project opportunities. Specifically speaking about CSE, this year the highest INR 56 LPA was bagged by BTech CSE. The placement percentage stood at 97% while the average package for CSE was recorded at INR 23 LPA.
DTU and NSIT may have higher placement statistics but they lack what IIT Jodhpur offers, the most coveted IIT tag! So choose wisely.
What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at RGUHS?
I have a few friends from RGUHS and here are some of the tips they shared.
- Make new friends, so you don’t feel homesick.
- You won’t like hostel food at first. But with time, you will get used to it.
- Make it a habit to study on a daily basis so that you do not have to stress on exam days. It is useful to plan your reading ahead of time since you will need revision.
- Be punctual with all your assignments and practicals. The same goes for internal exams, not a smart move to take them lightly.
- Solve the previous year’s question papers to make your mind work efficiently so there are no questions in your exams that make you go totally blank. It will make you feel confident.
- The exam dates might get postponed, don’t worry about it. It will just prove as a plus point for you and give you more time to revise.
- Take good care of your health.

What is the fee structure of IIFT, New Delhi?
The IIFT, New Delhi, MBA (IB) program has an annual tuition cost of Rs 8,85,000, which can be paid in three installments by candidates. In addition to the tuition fee, candidates will be required to pay additional fees of Rs 54,000 for library, computer, and alumni services during the duration of the program. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver.
Foreign students and NRI students are required to pay the annual tuition fee and additional fees in full at the time of enrollment in the first year and by the beginning of the second year. Additionally, foreign nationals and NRIs are required to pay an annual charge of US$30,000, which would be approximately 2,19,15,000 (Indian Rupees) at the current exchange rate.
